Data Locations
The Data Locations setting determines how R.O. Writer DVI Suite connects to the R.O. Writer database to retrieve updates, images, videos, and documents.
There are two data location setups: Non-SQL (R.O. Writer Gen 1) and SQL (R.O. Writer Gen 2, Version 3, and higher).
WARNING! R.O. Writer Gen 1 data locations have not been supported since the release of R.O. Writer 2.3. Users are advised to update to the latest R.O. Writer version to avoid critical issues.
SQL Setup in Set Data Location
If you are using R.O. Writer Gen 2, Version 3, or higher, check R.O. Writer Version 2.0 or higher. The settings appear on the window.
Non-SQL Setup in Set Data Location
If you are using R.O. Writer Gen 1, set the data location to a non-SQL database by checking R.O. Writer Version 1.X.
WARNING! Since the release of R.O. Writer 2.3, Gen 1 data locations are no longer supported. This option will be removed in a future update. Please upgrade to the latest R.O. Writer version to avoid critical issues.
